Genevieve Laing

Genevieve Laing is Director of Engineering at Cooper Perkins, a technology development and product engineering firm specializing in the design of highly integrated, electromechanical devices for a wide range of industries including robotics, energy equipment, medical, life sciences, industrial controls, sports and fitness, consumer products, and commercial avionics. She joined Cooper Perkins after working as a mechanical engineer at Medtronic on the product development of the O-arm. Genevieve earned a BS and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University where her thesis work focused on the development of a novel minimally invasive mitral valve chordal replacement surgical device.
